DIRECTOR, CITY OF DALLAS OFFICE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Robin Bentley has more than 15 years of experience in real estate finance and community development. Robin has expertise in negotiating and closing complex real estate and business development transactions utilizing local, state, and federal funding sources and incentive programs.
Robin joined the City of Dallas in 2013 as Senior Assistant City Attorney, where she advised the Office of Economic Development and the Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization Department on complex real estate and development transactions.
She later joined the Office of Economic Development as an Assistant Director, overseeing business and community development. In 2021 she was selected to lead the department and has overseen several consequential programs including the creation of a new City of Dallas Economic Development Policy and the formation of the City’s first Economic Development Corporation.
Robin is a certified Housing Development Finance Professional and a certified Economic Development Finance Professional. She is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Texas School of Law.
